Xu Zhi, male, Han ethnicity, born in January 1972, is a member of the Communist Party of China. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and currently serves as Deputy Secretary of the CPC Wuhu Municipal Committee, Mayor of Wuhu, and Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of Wuhu Municipal People's Government.

Prior to his current appointment, Xu Zhi served as Deputy Director and then Director of a provincial government agency, and subsequently as Deputy Leader and a member of the Leading Party Members' Group of a provincial government agency.
