Open-air movie nights continue at Shenshan Park

The audience-picked open-air movie nights at Shenshan Park return this week, adding to the summer evening atmosphere. At 7 pm on Friday and Saturday, the Lianxin Stage will screen a hit comedy and a Chinese-style animated film, offering residents a varied outdoor movie experience.

On Friday, August 28, the comedy Hello Mr. Billionaire opens the weekend. With its lighthearted storytelling, witty plot and feel-good tone, the film offers an escape from the daily grind.

On Saturday, August 29, the Chinese-style animated feature White Snake will be screened. Based on the classic folk legend, the film retells the romantic origin story with exquisitely crafted visuals and a touching narrative.

The lineup for September 4-5 has also been released, featuring 731, Zhang Ga the Soldier Boy, Operation Mekong and Let the Bullets Fly, spanning revolutionary classics, patriotic films, classic Hong Kong productions and family-friendly animations. A new round of voting will open soon. Residents can cast their votes via the Dajiang Kankan platform.
