Anhui computing power platform makes new strides

Computing power is a key underpinning of artificial intelligence development and a crucial enabler for the deep integration of digital and real economies. The Anhui Computing Power Industry Ecosystem Conference, themed "Data-Computing Integration, Smart New Journey," was recently held in Hefei. The Anhui Provincial Computing Power Coordination and Scheduling Platform (Public Service Platform for Computing Power of the Wuhu Cluster, Yangtze River Delta Hub) has achieved multiple milestones: the computing power scheduling platforms of six central China provinces have been connected to the national integrated computing power network; 28 new data centers have been onboarded; and the financial services section has been officially launched.

Guided by the National Data Administration, the platform has strengthened cross-regional computing power coordination to advance the national integrated computing power network. At the conference, computing power scheduling platforms in Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei and Hunan were connected to the national network, shifting computing power monitoring from single-province visibility to central China coordination and contributing central China's strength to the national network. The 28 newly added data centers have also been formally connected to the Anhui platform, expanding its computing power supply and coverage. Scattered computing resources can now be sensed, searched, matched and scheduled, delivering richer and more efficient computing services for enterprises, universities and research institutions.

Notably, the platform's financial services section has been launched to address the financial needs of computing power enterprises across infrastructure construction, equipment procurement, computing power usage and operations. The section supports the full-cycle financial needs of the computing power industry, offering computing power financing, computing power sci-tech credit and computing power insurance services: equipment finance leasing eases enterprises' upfront procurement costs; pay-after-use models lower barriers to computing power access; and service-level agreement (SLA) guarantees and insurance mechanisms provide risk coverage for stable computing power operations, further aligning financial resources with computing power industry needs.

From cross-regional coordination to computing resource pooling to industrial ecosystem services, the platform's capabilities continue to upgrade, further integrating Anhui's computing resources into the national computing power system.
