Wannan Medical University

Wannan Medical University, occupying an area of 484,400 square meters, comprises three campuses: Binjiang campus, Zhelu campus and Yinhu campus. At present, there are over 4800 faculties and medical staffs and over 26000 students, among which 17000 are full-time graduates, undergraduates and junior college students and 9000 are part-time adult students.

The university offers 26 specialties for undergraduates with one national-level characteristic specialty and nine provincial-level characteristic specialties, containing medical science, science, engineering, management, economics and jurisprudence. The university is authorized to grant master's degree to postgraduates in the field of four level-one academic subjects and grant five professional master’s degree, which on the whole cover academic learning in both preclinical and clinical medicine. It owns one provincial-level key laboratory, one provincial-level key research base of humanities and social science, one provincial-level engineering technology research center, one third-level laboratory authorized by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, one national-level general practitioners clinical training base and one national clinical drug trial center.
