Zheshan Mountain Park

Known as Wuhu's "city lung", Zheshan Mountain consists of two peaks, with its highest elevation at 86 meters. Within the park, Guangji Temple was originally built during the Tang Dynasty; the existing Mahavira Hall is a Qing Dynasty structure, and in front of it stands a stone tablet, documenting the splendor of the Eight Scenic Views of Wuhu during the Ming Dynasty. Climbing to the summit offers a panoramic view of the Yangtze River, which winds like a silken ribbon, and the entire city of Wuhu. This is especially stunning after rain, when clouds and mist swirl around the peaks, making the pagoda's shadow appear and disappear as if in a fairyland.
