Chery Group wins 14 J.D. Power awards

Power 2026 Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony, Chery Group won a total of 14 prestigious awards, including 5 first-place awards in the brand dimension, 7 champion awards and 2 exemplary awards in the model dimension, thanks to its outstanding product quality and full value chain service system. This achievement marks a historic record for the only independent brand to win five awards, signifying a systematic leap from single-point leadership to system-wide leadership for "Quality Chery".

 

This award covers five core areas: Sales Service Satisfaction Index (SSI), Appeal for Product Aesthetics and Aesthetics (APEAL), Initial Quality Study (IQS), Customer Service Satisfaction Index (CSI), and Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS). Chery ranked first among domestic brands in all five dimensions, notably achieving first place in the mainstream industry for CSI, demonstrating top-tier standards in its comprehensive service system from pre-sales consultation to after-sales maintenance. In terms of vehicle models, Chery leads across the board in both new energy and gasoline vehicles. Seven models, including the Chery R7 BEV, Chery Fengyun T9, Chery Tiggo 7 PLUS, Chery Tiggo 8 PLUS, Chery Tiggo 9, Chery Arrizo 5, and Chery Arrizo 8 PRO, won top spots in their respective market segments, covering all powertrain options from pure electric and plug-in hybrid to gasoline, and a full spectrum from compact sedans to mid-size high-end SUVs. In addition, the Zhijie R7 and Fengyun A9L have won two special honors: the "2025 Baize Award for Assisted Driving" and the "2025 Huayu Award for CICA Annual Intelligent Cockpit," respectively, highlighting Chery's achievements in intelligent and high-end development.

 

Chery's outstanding performance represents a historic breakthrough in two dimensions. First, it sets a new record as a five-time champion among domestic brands. Previously, domestic brands often excelled in a single area (such as new vehicle quality or after-sales service), but Chery has become the first automaker in the industry to achieve "No. 1 among domestic brands" in all five core research areas of J.D. Power, shattering the stereotype that domestic brands are "strong in one area but weak overall" and setting a new benchmark for comprehensive quality. Second, it achieves "full-spectrum" refinement, with award-winning models spanning from entry-level to flagship models and covering the entire range of gasoline and new energy vehicles. This demonstrates that Chery's product strength does not rely on a few "blockbuster" models, but rather represents a systematic leap towards "full-line refinement," showcasing its strong overall R&D and manufacturing capabilities.
