Chery Automobile is selected in the 2025 Fortune China ESG Influence List

This newspaper (Reporter Zhao Dandan) On May 16, in the "2025 China ESG Influence List" released by Fortune, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., as a representative enterprise in China's automobile manufacturing industry, was listed for its outstanding performance in the ESG field. This is also the second consecutive year that Chery Automobile has been listed in the Fortune China ESG Influence List.

As one of the most authoritative ESG evaluation systems, the Fortune China ESG Influence List is compiled by Fortune (Chinese version) to set a benchmark for sustainable development through multi-dimensional assessment of the comprehensive performance of enterprises in the fields of environment, society and corporate governance. A total of 100 companies were listed in this list, including 69 Chinese companies and 31 foreign companies in China. These companies are widely distributed in new energy, manufacturing, Internet, finance, big health and other fields. The listed companies have made outstanding efforts to improve the environment, protect employees and support the community, and have crossed the economic cycle with sustained and inclusive growth and won the respect of the market.

So far, five production bases of Chery Automobile have obtained national "green factory" certification with their outstanding green manufacturing strength, setting a benchmark for green manufacturing in the industry; in terms of technological innovation, Chery takes the new energy track as the core breakthrough point, develops a new generation of Kunpeng Tianqing hybrid dedicated engine that can achieve the world's highest thermal efficiency of more than 48%, as well as highly forward-looking hydrogen engines and hydrogen fuel cell systems, and contributes to the global ESG construction and high-quality realization of the "dual carbon" goal. "Chery solution"; in terms of public welfare and charity, Chery actively practices corporate citizenship responsibilities and widely carries out various public welfare and charity actions such as environmental protection, targeted poverty alleviation, disaster relief, and donations to education around the world. In October 2024, Chery Group pledged to provide US$3.5 million to the World Conservation Union (IUCN) for the implementation of the "Cherish Nature" Chery×IUCN global cooperation project.
