The cultural course examination will be uniformly set and prepared throughout the province.
The junior high school academic level test is a paper-pencil closed-book test for Chinese, mathematics, foreign languages, physics, and chemistry. The Chinese test is allowed to use the original student dictionary; Morality and Law, History are paper-pencil open-book tests, and textbooks and other related materials are allowed. Biology and geography are paper-pencil closed-book tests. Calculators are not allowed in any subject exams.
The registration for the junior high school academic level test is organized by each city. The current graduates shall be organized to register collectively by their current schools, and the graduates of previous years or those with equivalent academic qualifications shall register at the designated registration points in each city, county (city, district). The children of migrant workers in our province can register for the test at the school they attend in the place of influx, or they can register for the test at their registered place of residence according to their own wishes. Students with registered permanent residence in our province who have received and completed compulsory education in other provinces may voluntarily return to their registered place of residence to register for the test. Cities, counties (cities, districts) should set up registration points to handle the registration of students who return to their registered place of residence to take the test.
The Provincial Department of Education requires that all cities, counties (cities, districts) should urge schools to strictly implement the "Compulsory Education Law", and must not end junior high school graduation courses early or delete non-examination content without authorization in violation of regulations, and must not refuse students to take junior high school academic level tests for any reason, and must not arrange for students to leave school early, so as to ensure that students complete nine years of compulsory education. All cities, counties (cities, districts) and schools must not rank or publish the rankings of regions, schools, teachers and students according to junior high school academic level test scores in any form.
