Wuhu: A famous city which is the first in China to move from mid to high-end smart Manufacturing

Wuhu has four pillar industries: automobile and spare parts, materials, electronics and wires and cables, and has successfully cultivated ten strategic emerging industrial clusters, including new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles, smart home appliances, new materials, new-generation information technology, aerospace (low-altitude economy), healthcare and green food, artificial intelligence, high-end equipment manufacturing, renewable energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, digital creativity (online economy), promoting the transformation of "Wuhu manufacturing" to "Wuhu intelligent manufacturing", and accelerating the development of digitalization, networking and intelligence.

Wuhu has sttracted investments from 41 overseas top 500 enterprises and established economic and trade relations with 181 countries and regions. Chery new energy vehicles, Efort industrial robots, Zoomlion agricultural machinery and CETC aviation aircraft are famous throughout the country and are developing rapidly.

Hundreds of listed companies have invested in Wuhu, and there are 23 local listed companies in the city. The total market value of listed companies ranks the first in Anhui Province and seventh in the Yangtze River Delta. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Wuhu will vigorously implement the five-year doubling plan for enterprise listing, and strive to reach 40 listed companies by 2025.
